The Bezzera Sole is a high-capacity heat-exchanger that doesn’t skimp on style to accommodate brewing and steaming power. The PID-regulated boiler, E61 group head with optional flow control, and near-silent rotary pump give you extraordinary versatility, and its retro-futuristic aesthetic make it a true statement piece on your countertop.

This Bezzera espresso machine is a stylish and powerful heat-exchanger with a whisper-quiet rotary pump and a hefty 2 L boiler. The moon-lander-style feet contribute to the machine’s retro-futuristic aesthetic, but they’re also adjustable, which means the Sole can be stable on less-than-level surfaces.

The E61 brew group features a temperature-regulating thermosyphon, which helps to keep temperatures at the group head as stable as possible. Speaking of temperature stability, the PID controller allows you to make adjustments to the boiler temperature in 1° increments, so you can experiment with different brew profiles for various roasts. It also doubles as a shot timer during extractions.

The Sole is a versatile machine, too: you can plumb it to a direct water line or use the massive 4 L internal reservoir; you can also order it with an installed flow control device, which allows for even further experimentation with brewing specialty coffees.
