The DeLonghi Lattissima Touch EN 550.BK1 is equipped with an automatic cappuccino system and six programmable one-touch drink options. The Lattissima Touch EN 550.BK1 is a single-serve espresso machine designed to brew using Nespresso premium espresso capsules. With intuitive tactile controls, mess free brewing, and the ability to prepare specialty milk drinks at the push of a button, DeLonghi proves its mettle once again in the realm of capsule espresso brewing. Don't let this machine's single-serve classification fool you, the Lattissima Pro is equipped to brew any of six programmable drink options at the touch of a button. Located on the top of the machine are unique buttons for ristretto, espresso, lungo, latte, cappuccino, and milk foam. Each button can be programmed with your preferred liquid volumes allowing you to effortlessly recreate your favorite drink whenever you like. For taller glasses, the drip tray on the machine can be removed when brewing drinks like lungs and Americanos.

Brewing is handled by a powerful 19-bar pump and thermoblock heating system. Simply pop in your favorite Nespresso capsule, select your drink option, and brew. Used capsules are deposited internally in a dreg box that can hold up to 13 servings. For specialty milk drinks, the auto frothing carafe will automatically siphon and froth milk to dispense directly into your cup. For tea and cocoa, you can also dispense hot milk or hot water. For ease of maintenance the carafe is equipped with an automatic rinse function and can be stored in the refrigerator when not in use. The clear reservoir on the Lattissima Plus holds 30 oz of water and can be removed for easy rinsing and refilling. To assist with maintenance, the machine has two alerts for both descaling and rinsing of the milk circuit to protect its longevity and the flavor of your drinks. To preserve power, you can program one of three automatic shutoff times (9 min, 30 min, 8 hours) to have the machine power down after your specified period of inactivity.
