The E8 offers many of the same features that solidified JURA as one of the premier manufacturers of high-end super-automatic coffee machines in the world. The E8 uses 3D brewing technology and the Pulse Extraction Process to produce some of the best-tasting shots of espresso we’ve had from a super-auto. 

This brewing quality is bolstered on the 2024 version of the E8 by the newly-redesigned Professional Aroma Grinder 2, which now allows users to manually adjust grind size via an ergonomic switch—a first for JURA coffee machines. The new grinder also automatically enters “rest mode” between brews, which not only relieves tension on the burrs to improve their longevity, but helps to clear the grind chamber for cleaner, fresher cups of coffee. 

Like other JURA machines, the milk system on the E8 is easy to use and keep clean; most importantly, it produces perfect foam texture for everything from a flat white to a latte macchiato to a cappuccino. Simply attach one end of the milk siphoning hose to the spout on the machine and place the other end in any container with milk and the entirety of the JURA E8 drink menu is at your fingertips. 

Navigating the extensive beverage menu has never been easier thanks to the updated 3.5” full-color display and redesigned buttons, which are larger than before and marked for easy access. This intuitive menu not only allows you full customization of every beverage it brews, but will also give you maintenance reminders and let you know when it’s time to empty the drip tray or refill the water tank. 

Like the previous iteration, the 2024 JURA E8 is WiFi compatible with the J.O.E. app, which allows you to set recipes and schedule brew times from your phone (though you do need to purchase the JURA WiFi Connect, which is sold separately).

Like all JURA super-autos, the E8 comes with a CLEARYL Smart+ water filter which, if replaced as directed, will entirely eliminate the need to descale the machine—that’s a perk no other brand of super-autos can offer. The E8 also boasts a hefty 64 oz water reservoir and a 10 oz bean hopper. The adjustable coffee and hot water spout used for brewing non-milk beverages fits cups up to 4” tall, and the cappuccino spout used for brewing milk-based beverages fits cups up to 6” tall.
