The Mahlkonig X54 Allround Home Coffee Grinder is a thoughtful and powerful option when considering a grinder for all brew methods. Its 54mm flat steel burrs can be dialed in from cold brew coarse to espresso fine via the stepless adjustment knob and the front of the grinder features two swappable attachments for portafilter and dosing cup grinding. Tech savvy users will also appreciate the Mahlkonig app. By connecting the X54 to your home WiFi it can sync with the app for guided tutorials on dialing in and the ability to save and share grinding recipes and to assign them to one of the four timed grinding profiles.

Features and Benefits

If you enjoy experimenting with coffee and brewing with multiple devices and methods, the X54 is the grinder for you. Its 54mm flat steel burrs have been calibrated to produce evenly distributed grinds across the full spectrum of settings. The adjustment knob traverses the full range of grinds with one full turn moving from cold brew coarse to espresso fine. Coupled with the programmable doses, the X54 allows for frequent adjustments while making it easy to return to a set point as needed.

Based on your needs the front of the X54 can be fitted with an adapter for portafilter grinding or brew grinding. Simply remove and replace the current adapter to desired selection and change back as needed. Where the grinder really shines is via the Mahlkonig companion app. The app can be used to save and share grinding recipes and features a suite of maintenance tutorials to guide you through proper care of your grinder.

In raw numbers the X54 has a grinding output of 1-2.8g/sec based on your grind setting and holds up to 250g of whole bean coffee. In addition to the two front adapters, Mahlkonig also includes a branded dosing cup to transfer coffee to your chosen device. For light commercial use the X54 also features an ETL and NSF certification.
